  INSTRUCTIONS  
  The candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully.  
 

  • Please make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria before filling up the form.
  • Provide all the available information under appropriate sections.
  • Make sure to sign and affix photo (uploaded or hard copy)on the online acknowledgement print out.
  • Please keep your Application Number printed on the acknowledgment for future reference.
  • The print out of the acknowledgement submitted online,duly signed by the candidate & attested by a gazetted officer accompanying all relevent certificates,fee receipts shall be submitted to the Director,School of Distance Edcation,Senate House Campus, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India-695034 on or before 31.08.2014 for UG & MBA Courses and 30.09.2014 for PG programmes.
 
  Guidelines on how to submit the Application Form  
 

1.

Remit the fee(DD/Chalan) for Prospectus
 
   
  Prospectus fee Rs. 250/- for all Program , for MBA Rs. 450/- including Entrance Exam fee and for overseas students Rs.750/- including Entrance Exam fee.
   
 
  • DD drawn in favour of : The Finance Officer,University of Kerala,Thiruvananthapuram.
  • Enter Chalan / DD details exactly as instructed on the Online Application form
    Applicants can get the prospectus by making payment of the prescribed fee towards the cost of application and prospectus, from the Information Counter at the School of Distance Education, University of Kerala , Palayam,Thiruvananthapuram  
       
  2. Remit Rs.100/- for Department Development fund fee(DDF)  
   
  • Demand draft drawn in favour of : The Director, School of Distance Education, University of Kerala, Senate House Campus, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India-695034
  • Payment can be made directly at SDE office also.
 
    NB: Candidates seeking admission to the MBA Program, pay DDF at the time of admission.  
       
  3. Enclosures for each application:  
    A. UG & PG Programmes  
      Applicant has to enclose the following certificates  
     
  • Duly attested copy of the Online printout.( Attestation should be done by any Gazetted Officer).
  • A passport size Photograph
  • DD/University pay in slip regarding the prospectus fee
  • DD/University pay in slip regarding the first installment tuition fee.
  • DD/receipt regarding the DDF
  • Photo copy of Date of Birth Certificate/Class X Certificate.
  • Original Qualification Certificate (as may be applicable).
  • Original Mark sheet (as may be applicable).
  • Original Transfer certificate
  • Online Printout from Akshaya centre with Caste certificate and Income Certificate for SC /ST/OEC candidate
  • Any other certificates (photocopy) pertaining to academic and other activities
 
         
    B. Diploma/Certificate programmes  
      Applicant has to enclose the following certificates  
     
  • Duly attested copy of the online printout.( Attestation should be done by any Gazetted Officer).
  • A passport size Photograph
  • DD/University pay in slip regarding the prospectus fee
  • DD/University pay in slip regarding the first installment tuition fee.
  • DD/ receipt regarding the DDF
  • Photo copy of Date of Birth Certificate/Class X Certificate.
    Original Qualification Certificate (as may be applicable).
  • Original Mark sheet (as may be applicable).
  • Any other certificates (photocopy) pertaining to academic and other activities.
 
         
    C. MBA program  
     
  • Duly attested copy of the online printout.( Attestation should be done by any Gazetted Officer).
  • DD/University pay in slip regarding the prospectus fee
  • Photo copy of Date of Birth Certificate/Class X Certificate.
  • Photocopy of Qualification Certificate (as may be applicable).
  • Photocopy of Transfer certificate
  • DD/University pay in slip for Rs.200/- towards the fee for entrance test.

University have the right to remove an invalid application from the database without intimating the applicant.

The last date for receiving application shall be 31-08-2014 for UG Programs & MBA. 30-09-2014 for PG Programs/PG Diploma/Certificate Programmes , unless otherwise notified.If anyone wish to do the course in SDE after closing date, candidate must produce a special sanction from the Registrar University of Kerala, Palayam and send filled application form (download from the www.keralauniversity.ac.in) and requisite documents to The Director, School of Distance Education, University of Kerala, Senate House Campus, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India-695034

Mode of Admission

Direct Admission to School of Distance Education (SDE)

Certificates and documents shall be sent to The Director, SDE, University of Kerala, University Senate House Campus, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram-695034. Contact programme for direct admissions will be conducted at SDE Thiruvananthapuram as well as at selected study centres.

Admission to SDE Through Learners' Support Centres (LSCs)

Certificates and documents shall be submitted at the LSCs concerned. Classes will be held at the LSC and all services including the submission of exam application form, distribution of study materials, mark lists, TC etc. will be provided by the LSC.
